Making Traveling Easier!

"Quit Your Job, Buy A Ticket, Get A Tan, Fall In Love, Never Return."

It’s summa time!! Whether it’s to the beach, a tourist destination or to visit loved ones, airports are packed all summer long as prime vacation season is upon us.  We have 10 simple tips for you to help make your travel just a little more smooth during your next flight!

1. Pack what you can in your carry on! Such as that adorable new outfit from Bronze Coconut, your Hanky Panky underwear in a Ziploc bag incase security needs to dig through your bag, your camera, & your make-up bag!

2. Roll your clothes when packing, whether it is in your carry on or suitcase. You will not believe how much more you can fit!

3. Plan out and pack your outfits for the week(end) so you know you have the appropriate attire for each occasion. Also have back up plans because the weather is never correct!

4. Download your airline's mobile app. This will make everything, from beginning to end, a much smoother and quicker process.

5. If shopping is on the agenda (which it always is!), maybe pack a small, extra bag in case you need to check it on the trip home.

6. Take an empty water bottle to refill after getting through security so you don't have to pay $5 for a water bottle! Stay hydrated!

7. Bring a lightweight sweater because airports and planes can get very chilly. When having the layover in Chicago, the blazer I had on didn't suffice and a winter coat was probably needed!

8. Take a picture of where you parked! My boyfriend and I made the mistake of "we will remember" when traveling to San Francisco during Spring Break last year. After 65 minutes of three carry-ons, two suitcases and I had switched to wedges for class that Monday morning; let's just say I was not a happy traveler.

9. If you don't mind being bare foot for thirty seconds through security, it is much less hassle to wear slip on or simple strappy shoes.

10. Wear minimal makeup! If you are meeting someone when getting off, quickly wash your face once you land and do your makeup at your final destination. "Less is more" is definitely the case when it comes to doing your make-up: light foundation, bronzer and mascara will do if you feel it is necessary.
